The smoker

So i decided i would make a smoker for the summer....it was a project and a half! And i learned how to weld doing it.

I think it turned out ok....we shall see how well it smokes!

Summer Project

Well in the few weeks I had the house to myself....This is what I did.

The Pantry is 14x11.  I ended up tiling both the pantry and the kitchen.

Figured if I was going to kill myself doing tile, I might as 

well go all out doing it.  Then everything got some fresh paint.

Thanks to Robert and Pam, I was able to get it 

done before Kay and the kids got home.

Spring 2012 project

We no longer have a 3rd bathroom.

Its taken me a little longer than I had planned due to dry-rot, but it's getting there.  It will end up being our laundry room.  With where the washer and dryer is now, in the winter time the lines like to freeze.  




The floor got done, despite splitting my head open half way through.  Kay tried to get me to stop and let the bleeding slow, but I had my mind set to get it done.  I think it turned out good.  Wish we would have done this tile in the kitchen.

IPAD APPs (ZITE)

Thought i would start blogging my favorite apps, seeing how dad has one and looks like john might get one.

So first up is .... ... What this app is, is basically a magazine that is put together by your input. First off, you select titles that interest you, such as, "gadgets" "photography" "app store" or "woodworking" (my favorite is app store because it keeps me up on all the cool apps that come out)

The app then goes out and looks for articles that apply to that topic. The second way it conforms to you is that you give a thumbs up or a thumbs down if you liked the article and it will then avoid or find that type of article.

Remember the days we had to have a schedule to be able to get on that ancient computer just to play this game! Looking back, how did that computer even run this game anyway!

New Trailer

Well we did it! we have been thinking about getting either a new tent, or a pop-up. As you can see, we went with the pop-up.

We spent the night in it Friday with the kids, and we all absolutely love it! It has a king, queen, and full size beds, a toilet/shower, gas range (can also be attached to the outside of the trailer) sink, and refrigerator.

Anyone ready to go camping? Lets do it!
