Boat SIX

So we got it all set up.  We put it in the water and would die after less than 30 seconds, and would not shift out of drive.  Adam and I took the engine apart and found a pile of metal.  The first photo is some of that pile.  I assume this is why we were having the issues.  The next few photos are of the gears.  They had chunks and teeth taken out.

The gearcase is now in several buckets.

Today we recieved the first of several shipments.  This one has out new used gears.

Summer Project

Well in the few weeks I had the house to myself....This is what I did.
The Pantry is 14x11.  I ended up tiling both the pantry and the kitchen.
Figured if I was going to kill myself doing tile, I might as
well go all out doing it.  Then everything got some fresh paint.
Thanks to Robert and Pam, I was able to get it
done before Kay and the kids got home.

Spring 2012 project

We no longer have a 3rd bathroom.

Its taken me a little longer than I had planned due to dry-rot, but it's getting there.  It will end up being our laundry room.  With where the washer and dryer is now, in the winter time the lines like to freeze.

The floor got done, despite splitting my head open half way through.  Kay tried to get me to stop and let the bleeding slow, but I had my mind set to get it done.  I think it turned out good.  Wish we would have done this tile in the kitchen.
